Meredy couldn't shake the feeling of despair that hung completely over her. For some reason, even with the battle finally coming to an end, she couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong. Horribly wrong. Quickly feet began pattering against the stone ground as she began running through the streets. Surely it couldn't be because something had happened to Jellal or Ultear.. Coming to a sudden stop, the pink haired teen glance downwards towards her wrist. Of course! Why hadn't she thought of this sooner! Using her magic, the sense link was soon enough created with Jellal. Good, he was safe from harm at least. Yet still, even as she cancelled the link, the dreaded feeling could only continue growing worse. Trying to create a link with Ultear, green orbs widened. Why wasn't it working?! No! No! She couldn't be - not Ultear! She was just out of magic, that had to be it!
"Ultear? Ultear where are you?" Panicked, her voice began growing louder as her feet resumed tearing through the city. She had to be here, somewhere! Glancing around frantically after several minutes her eyes finally fell on the unmistakeable form of the time mage.
"Ultear!"Running over to her as fast as she could, soon enough she sank down onto her knees beside her. "Ultear U-Ultear, wake up! C-Come on! You can't just d-die! ...Mom! C'mon! Everyone else is alright, y-you can't do this! You can't die!" With tears streaming down her cheeks, Meredy pulled the unmoving mage onto her lap, gently shaking her as she continued to try and rouse her. She couldn't be dead. No matter what, she just couldn't be! Glancing up frantically and spotting some mages walking by, she raised her voice. "Some help! Anyone! Please!"
