Here's @jemelehill’s favorite, Stringer Bell, doing what he can to offer comfort to Donette during a difficult time. Actor credits: Everyone knows Idris Elba, of course. I'm catching up on my draw-along with The @Ringer's podcast about The Wire, “Way Down in the Hole.” Here's Lawrence Gilliard Jr aka @thereallgjr as D'Angelo Barksdale in season 2, episode 6 "All Prologue." . "…You can say you somebody new, you can give yourself a whole new story. But what came first is who you really are and what happened before is what really happened." . I was initially going to draw the "Where's Wallace?" scene from season 1, but I went with this moment instead because there's just so much going on: growth, clarity, regret, resolve. I couldn’t begin to get in all in one drawing. Gilliard's performance is stellar. . I also love that he's speaking to Richard Price in this scene.
