The above piece is by Marcia Dye, and is of Christine Daae from Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera. Our favourite musical/book/film (we haven't seen all of the different versions of POTO, but we're getting through them :)). It was drawn in markers, watercolours and coloured pencils.
It also inspired one of Kitty's short stories in her latest book release, The Wedding Mask And Other Tales. Masks:
'I may sing and dance in sunlight, but at night I am his. The mirror in my bedroom turns to mist, and he leads me down to the apartment on the lake.'
