yeahhhh i looked at my outline and how much plot i still wanted to tackle and was like well. shit this is gonna be a lot of chapters XD😭 assuming i can actually get to it all
i didn't set out with the intention of this being a "unpack and rework the entire plot of the book series" fic but... once i started plucking on the threads of the series' politics the whole thing kind of unraveled and now i have to try to knit it back together. stormlight archive lore is so incredibly rich but its engagement with its own in-universe politics is strange and leaves a lot of interesting and critical stuff on the table... I've spent a lot of time thinking about How It Could Be and now I have a 150k draft document attempting to rework the entire central conflict of the book series lmfao. I've been trying to gradually lay the groundwork for the politics plot and will start really kicking it into gear in chapter 16, hopefully. it's all becoming... rather complex 😂 let's hope i can actually stick the landing on it
poor Kaladin, i already put him through hell and gave him infinite trauma and now he has to lead a political revolution too... smh dude never gets a fucking break ever 😂 I'll have to let him see his scary girlfriend again soon, for his health. In the meantime at least he has his situationship with Adolin to comfort him.
