Madi leaned her forehead against his, hand on his chest. “Why are you so worried if she knew? You’re mother wants me to come to family dinner because we started to date. What am I suppose to say, no because we don’t want your sister to know?” Madi asked. Yes, she started dating him out of revenge but she was falling for him. It wasn’t like she hadn’t been attracted to him before her friend decided to break the best friend and girl code. But she hadn’t done anything about her attraction because he was her best friend’s brother. But now...she no longer had a best friend and he was free game. Just like her shit of an ex best friend thought her asshole of an ex was free game. 

“I…I didn’t mean to say that out loud.” He blushed. “Oh, no. No, just looking is okay. I’ve never…done more.”

Effy couldn’t help but get distracted by her roommate in the mornings. She found the sleepy haze the other girl walked around to be one of the most adorable things she’d ever seen. She’d stare at her, with mused hair in her shorty pajamas and slippers, walking around the house lazily going about her morning routine. It was distracting. Effy found herself walking into walls, spilling coffee, knocking tables over and flipping over the couch quite often. It wasn’t even she found her roommate attractive in a sexual sense, she just found her adorable in the mornings.
