For the fanfic ask, what's the most favorite line you've ever written? (I think it was #17)

But to the question:

17 - what is your favorite line you’ve ever written

There are so many of them pls and I can barely think of any off the top of my head, but I’ll give you one from one of my favorite fics I’ve written:

The ache that now lives deep in his chest, that he has now come to associate with her, is ever-present. He feels, looking at her, the way he does before an important speech in front of council at work; the way he does when a stranger tells him how much of an impact he’s had on them; the way he does when he thinks about The Box and what she’s put inside it for him.

—Unboxing Desires and Other Miscellanies, Chapter 5

This fic was just one of those stories born from too much thinking about Toph and Sokka and their growing relationship. It was such a fun one to write and people seemed to enjoy it so :D
