REALLY IMPORTANT MESSAGE!!!!!!
Okay, hopefully, I got (some) of your attention :-)
Well, I have over 100 followers on my blog and being that you guys (sadly) never interact with me, I realize that I'm taking a shot in the dark here.
But, I have something very important to say and I'm hoping you'll read this:
I'm starting a non-profit with two friends of mine, Kimberly and Natalie. We are in the process of forming and we had wanted to find a way to gain some exposure for our cause. So, we made a tumblr and a twitter.
So, perhaps you want to know "what is this non-profit and why should I care?"
Well, we'll be calling our non profit The Uniwarrior Project (if you want to know the back story behind the weird name, you can look here). The mission of our organization will be to guide and empower victims of sexual abuse and assault.Â
Now I'm sure you're wondering "still, why should I care?"
My answer: As a victim of molestation, I was scared for two thirds of my life to speak out, and starting The Uniwarrior Project has given me the strength I needed to stand up and speak out. There are so many others who have been through what I have- and even worse. We want to give victims comfort and reassurance knowing that they are NOT alone.Â
So, that being said, we started our blog where we post things that have to do with positivity, happiness, body positivity, rape culture, and more. We talk about a slew of things and we're trying to get this off the ground. So if you have been reading this far, I truly appreciate it. If you are interested, here's our blog:
