Throwback Thursday Just heard that The Trocadero theater in Philadelphia is probably going to close down forever this year. I am heartbroken by this news. So many of my best memories are from that venue... Emceeing The Catwalk Tragedy, seeing Type O Negative there, the Zombie Prom/Beach Party, Dracula's Ball, so many concerts, working the merch counter... I was too young to go upstairs to the bar the first time I went there for my very first Dracula's Ball at 17. It was an event that would literally shape who I would become - if not for that single event, I never would have met 90% of my most cherished friends, or gotten into modeling, or had a band, or any of the things that make me who I am today. My heart is heavy today. It hurts *so much* to think this historic venue might be closing down for good. I hope someone buys it and restores it.
