New kitties are ready for you to adopt them! A new version of Pepperoni is now for sale, as well a brand new kitty - Jellybean! They are $16 each, and $8 will be donated! We also have two new catnip toys! A fried egg and a Super "purrtendo" controller for $6 each. We are almost to our goal of raising $250 for Magnificat Cat Rescue and Rehoming! Working on the new plushies! These are all made by hand. After I cut the fabric roughly to shape, I pin each side together with their woven labels in between. Then there are sewn with my machine and finished by hand. I also cut the tags from a larger sheet to save some money. Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that helped make this happen! I have some ridiculously exciting news for 2015 to announce soon, but for now let's take a second to celebrate the first 6 months of The Tiny Tabby! Teddy, our owner, CEO, and director of purrs, has generously used his allowance to purchase items to donate to the Purr-tastic Holiday Gift Box event! Teddy, who doesn't like treats OR catnip, asked me to pick out yummy snacks and toys for the shelter cats because he was unsure of what to buy. "Get things that are on sale" he told me, as he handed me his platinum credit card. Teddy says "now that I've been adopted, I get a LOT of presents during the holidays. But, before I never got anything special. Hopefully, some homeless cats can have nice things too now!" We thanked Teddy for taking the time out of his busy schedule to have this interview. It's time to start planning for the holidays already! Our hope is to collect some really good tasty treats, toys and squishy beds for homeless cats in shelters this holiday season! From now until December, we will be collecting items to mail to non-profit shelters so that homeless kitties can have the best holiday ever! Having comforting items while in a shelter can make a huge difference in the life of a homeless animal. A shelter's main priority is keeping the cats healthy, so a shelter cat getting something special is really rare! We have an Amazon Wishlist if you would like to pick out an item for a shelter kitty! We will also donate money to the shelters we mail gift boxes to! And we will throw in some of our handmade cat toys and plushes! The number of places we will donate to will depend on how many gifts we can gather.
