9: the most aethetically pleasing movie youâve ever watched
dude...tough one. a series of unfortunate events. it got something that was not very common at the time and is not very common now a days and is that neo-gothic diesel punk style. it managed to be cartoony without being grotesque. its washed out colors and abundance of beiges. is such an anachronistic movie. thre might be others i liked more but right now i cant remember them
10: whatâs your favourite movie director:
i have a favourite director like other people have favourite songs, a new one every week. for a while it was christopher nolan, the guy knows how to make a movie and more importantly, how to make it look GOOD. then i guess we have david fincher whos movies are the textbook definition of slick  then, jeez, i dunno, maybe robert zemeckis but more for the scripts he takes rather than any directorial chops he might have. AND THEN THERE IS SHANE CARRUTH BECAUSE HOLY SHIT, the guy took âshow dont tellâ i went with it all the way to next sunday, best science fiction creator. and guillermo del toro. always
15: a film that everyone else loves that you hate:
 hard candy. not so much as how loved it is but for how much i HATE it. it creates a visceral response on me. i loathe that film. god, i just made myself angry thinking about it
also i dont think i like synechdoche, new york all that much, after giving it some thought. yes i can see why it is âa masterpieceâ but is not my thing. too needlessly depressing
16: a series everyone else hates that you love:
the twilight series, but that is an easy one. i read the books, and it doesnt matter how bad they might be, the fact that they were so faithful always makes me giddy. like, yes, this is a horrible thing im watching BUT LOOK THEY ACTUALLY INCLUDED THE SCENE WHERE ROSALIE KILLS HER RAPIST IN HER WEDDING DRESS, OH GOSH THOSE ARE THE WEIRD RUMANIAN GUYS; WE ACTUALLY HAVE JACOB IMPRINTING ON RENESME, THAT IS ARO HOLY SHIT.Â
the golden compass. whilst the general consensus goes from âmediocreâ to âmehâ i think it looks pretty and its entertaining and this is the hill im going to die.

The Utopia series 2 soundtrack is out, I'm so stoked about it! It's so fucking good. One of my favorites is Promised Land, I think....although, man, Lucidity Gone is just so so chilling and beautiful.
Have you listened to it, thethreehares? (I'm not usually a huge soundtrack fan, but Utopia's was absolute perfection)
