To say the storm was biting would be overestimating its comfort level. He was freezing as he tucked his jacket around himself and ducked into Theory, hoping to see his wife’s face. Instead, he saw another friendly face - a coworker of hers whose name had completely skipped his mind. He brushed off his coat, trying not to drag in more water than was necessary, before he walked to the counter with a tentative smile. He glanced at her nametag.

(( Dirk!mun: Thank you so so so much. I wanted to show a younger Dirk, and I wanted to-- I dunno-- touch on some of the themes we talked about before when you were explaining how you felt about the new series-- I’m glad it came off all right. I really liked the line about “all quanta are entangled,” I hope it’s okay to be proud of that. 

Care: Oh my goodness. THANK YOU. And here I was freaking out people would be pissed at me for this one because of subject matter but when it clicked it just clicked in my head and I knew I had to write it. This one was a real haul, it took me most of two nights. I think my favorite reference was Giles taking the bat to Croup’s face and telling him he talks too much because Anthony Stewart Head voiced Croup in the radio play version.
