Sebastian wanted to do something special for Elthinaâs birthday and after finding an old receipt for a winter tea, had decided to gather the needed ingredients himself. However since most of them grew at the wounded coast, he figured it wouldâve been unwise to go there all by himself. Not wanting to bother Hawke, who was already busy enough, trying to keep the peace in Kirkwall, he had asked Sovereign for her company and was pleasantly surprised, when she complied right away, claiming to be bored out of her skin anyways.
It had been a pleasantly peaceful - as far as peaceful goes for an area as infested with Tal-Vashoth and bloodmages as the Wounded Coast - day and they had all the ingredients together by early afternoon. It was then, that the faint grumble of thunder started to roll over them and the Brother could see the dark wall of clouds already gather the distance. He clicked his tongue disappointed. They were too far away from Kirkwall, to reach the town, before the thunderstorm would be above them and the thought of running through heavy rain wasnât exactly pleasant. Turning to his company, he saw the mage being somewhat tense, a frown visible on her face. It seemed like she shared his sentiment at having to run through rain. Smiling at her, to ease the frown from her expression, he spoke with a hint of regret in his voice: âIt seems, like weâre going to be stuck in a thunderstorm sonn. Iâm sorry to have you put up with this as well, after following me around back and forth all day. Iâd say, we go take shelter until the weatherâs over.âWith this he lead her up a path, he knew wound to a small overhang, just big enough to shield them both from the rain. As soon as they arrived, the water came pouring down. Sitting down against the wall, he looked up worried for how long it would take, until they could be on their way again. That was when the first lightning cracked over the pitch-black sky almost blindingly bright and loud thunder roared short after. He noticed Sovereign flinch besides him and turned worried."Are ye quite alright?"
