“i don’t mind just sitting and making small talk,” she stated, a slight smirk on her features - and perhaps a touch amusement on her features. really, small talk WAS fine. it was incredibly dull, and played like static to her and therefore made it quite easy to focus on more important things. but boring sebastian likely wasn’t in her best interest quite yet. “but fine, fine. strictly business.”
“the macedonian ambassador affair has already been taken care of, i won’t be needing your dashing self for that. it’s going smoothly. but i’d hate to let you grow bored with no jobs, so when the macedonian ambassador has been drained of resources, i’ll need his bodyguard-” and her informant “-taken care of.”
she took a sip of her tea, then glanced at it with an arched eyebrow. ugh. okay, she had either grown too used to coffee or the abomination of a tea bag used to brew her drink had been thrown together by someone who had no clue of what tea actually was. she placed the cup down with a slight sigh, then shifted on her chair. curling one leg underneath her, she sent the little lackey her prized hench-man moran a grin.
“i can get you specifics of where he’ll be, likely my business will be done with him in a couple of weeks. i’ll let you know nearer the time. he’ll probably try and get in touch before then so we’ll still have to have little meet ups and swap messages ourselves so you can convincingly be me~ i’m sure, as always, you’ll be looking forward to the correspondence.” she teased lightly, the joking tone quite clear. still, though it irritated her to have to hide behind someone on the phone who better to put in front than him?
“i take it the last few assignments went without a hitch?”
