So...if Moriarty took the case because it intrigued him and he thought Sherlock could come play with him, but he ended up foiled by Sherlock’s love for John -- Moriarty’s inability to get Sherlock to see John as a “thing,” an “ordinary one” or a “pet” instead of a person -- then Moriarty saw the loneliness of his own life and resolved the final problem by choosing death.

Sherlock’s friendship with John defeated Moriarty.

Eurus animated the image of the dead Moriarty to announce that she was coming for Sherlock and Mycroft herself.

Write a story in which your character was always female (if they’re male in canon), and are suddenly turned male.

I love the idea of this.  

There are so many positives:

Suddenly being able to go places alone without worry.

Suddenly being taller and stronger and more muscled.

No PMS.

No sexism.  (The sudden freedom would kind of go to your head.)

Not having to wear shirts!

Freedom from make-up and judgement based on appearance.

Peeing while standing up!!!

And negatives:

Your support group is awkward around you now, and other men don’t talk about feelings or bolster each other in the same way.

It is suddenly publicly (humiliatingly) obvious if you’re sitting around indulging in sexual fantasies.

The guy you were crushing on (OTP) has never shown signs of being GAY.

Suddenly the relationship you’ve been striving for has a huge and very negative social stigma.

Penetrative sex is suddenly much more labor-intensive and messy (not to mention the whole ‘what about shit’ thing).

People have expectations that you’ll be brave and stoic.  You get judged for expressing emotions.

I’m intrigued by the idea of merging a canon-gender character with someone who USED to be female and exploring it from the other-way-round.

I thought I’d like it because I’m always down for some kinky cassock sex but so far it’s just creeped me out and no cassock sex and JL is just weird and unlikeable and so meh
