Midwest ladies, I know you feel me when I say that winter is a struggle in more ways than one. I wear business casual clothing for work, which includes a lot of dresses and I’m not a huge tights/pantyhose person. So that means usually bare legs.. and in the winter in Michigan your legs are usually about as white/pale as the snow is! 

Therma Labs has a variety of different skincare (and other random) products including self tanning products and sunscreens. 

Things to remember; Don’t shave 24 hours before you use these towelettes; however you will want to use a good exfoliate or body scrub.

Each towelette comes individually wrapped which is really a nice perk. The towels look exactly like a baby wipe; they are white and they do not turn color. The towelettes don’t have any strong odor and by the time my skin is dry there was no odor at all. Simply wipe the towelette anywhere that you want color. I stayed away from my elbows and knees. You will be able to see a very faint sheen when you first use the wipe so I used that sheen as my marker of where I would be getting color. That works perfectly. It takes me 1 wipes to do my legs and a second wipe to do my arms and face. Since I wear a full bathing suit I don’t do a full body tan just arms and legs. Color starts to appear in about 4 hours.

The towelettes do dry out quickly so work fast! The package says not to get dressed for 10 minutes to insure that your clothing or bedding doesn’t get stained. I do my tanning before bed, I use my towelettes after my shower on dry skin.  Then do the rest of my night-time routine, brushing teeth, cleaning my contacts and such. I don’t think it’s a full 10 minutes that I wait to put on my pajama’s but I haven’t seen any staining on my bedding or on my pj’s.  I do wash my hands very well as soon as I am done applying my tanner. I use a hand scrub to be sure that my palms and nails aren’t tanned.

I love that these towelettes give me a build-able tan. To maintain the color that I want I use a towelette once every 5 or 6 days.

This tanner is not greasy, oily or smelly. My skin doesn’t feel sticky either.
