Set a goal to run 6 miles today with intervals of 6 minutes running/1 minute walking. And although my feet hurt towards the end, I actually felt as though I could keep going! This gives me incredible hope. Realized the ball of my foot strikes first instead of my heel, which is something I’ll need to work on. Also took a more accurate baseline of my pace, which is happily faster than 14 minutes/mile. Ready for week 2. #ahappierme #halfmarathonvirgin #thereshopeyet
