[[ Ahahaha holy shit I wasnāt expecting THIS MANY. XD But okay, letās see how this goes! *cracks knuckles* ]]
1. What does their bedroom look like?
If weāre talking Mikeās home reality, very spartan. Battered old bed, wooden crate as a night stand, an old cat bed that hasnāt been used for years but he canāt bring himself to throw out. Very little else. In the tumblr-RP-verse, Mikeās bedroom is the abandoned subway car heās claimed as his own and modified. Walls plastered with candy wrappers, recovered posters and salvaged comic pages, a scavenged and patched up mattress in one end of the car, and a heap of salvaged pillows and blankets.
2. Do they have any daily rituals?
Mike has his exercise ritual that he does every day, to help keep himself in tip top shape. He canāt afford to slack off on it, since he has to compensate for the lack of one arm.
6. Eating habits and sample daily menu
Mike will eat pretty much anything remotely edible that he can get his hands on. He has his preferences, of course, but he knows that he canāt be fussy, especially not in his home reality, where food isnāt exactly easy to come by.
7. Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
Mikeās favourite way to waste time these days is just kicking back somewhere comfortable and daydreaming. Music is a bonus. As for his feelings about wasting time⦠heās just grateful to have time TO waste.
14. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)
The most obvious one is his left arm, of course. Missing from the elbow down, and capped with a metal cap. The nerves in the end of his arm stump are dead, so he has no feeling there. The metal cap helps to protect the deadened end from accidental bumps or scrapes or cuts that he otherwise wouldnāt feel. He also suffers from bouts of phantom pain, some worse than others, though heāll never admit it to anyone.
Mikeās also got a wide variety of scars, some of which tend to ache in damp/cold weather. He does his best to ignore them though.
15. Biggest and smallest short term goal?
Mikeās not really much of a goal-setting person. He tends to just take life as it comes along and not worry too much about the past or the future. Short term goals would probably just include surviving each day, preferably without getting injured.
16. Biggest and smallest long term goal?
Similar to the previous question, except long term goals would also include one day finding his Donatello (or at least finding out what HAPPENED to him), somehow defeating the Shredder for good, and⦠surviving. XD
17. Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
Clothes arenāt really a thing Mike has to worry about much. XD His usual gear is his normal orange bandanna, his belt/nunchucks and bandoleer, his wrist wrap, knee guards and shoulder guard. If heās relaxing and not expecting any conflict any time soon, he might temporarily ditch the shoulder guard, but not much else.
He almost never takes his belt/nunchucks off though, usually only when heās taking a shower. And even when he does, he keeps them well within armās reach.
Super-chocolate thickshakes in hot weather, hot chocolate in cold weather.
19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
As little as possible. ;)
22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?
Depending on his mood, Mike might idly chew on the pencil and fold the paper into some kind of origami, or he might just doodle some random little sketch, or play noughts and crosses against himself (he remains undefeated!).
25. How do they see themselves 5 years from today?
Probably dead, when he bothers to think about it at all. Though Mike doesnāt really think too far ahead. He takes life a day at a time - no point worrying about the future until it becomes the present.
26. Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things donāt work out?
Surviving for as long as possible. XD And if that doesnāt work out, well, itās hard to plan anything for when youāre dead. ;)
28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
Mikeās absolute best friend would have to be his realityās April OāNeil. Theyāve been through hell together, and April has always had his back.
As for worst enemy⦠definitely the Shredder. No contest.
30. Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)
Mike grieves in private, and puts on a strong, calm front to help support and comfort the rest of his family or anyone else affected by said disaster. He also works through his emotions relatively quickly, and recovers pretty easily afterwards. Mikeās not the type to dwell much.
31. Most prized possession?
His nunchucks. Though āprizedā is probably the wrong word for it. āEssentialā is closer to the mark. Something that might be considered more āprizedā is probably this sketch of his, on a piece of paper thatās been carefully laminated and stashed in one of his belt pouches.
32. Thoughts on material possessions in general?
Mikeās thoughts on material possessions in general has changed over the years. He used to be an avid collector, but these days material possessions donāt hold much appeal for him any more. Theyāre too easily lost or destroyed or left behind.
33. Concept of home and family?
Home is wherever his family is. Family is those who stick with him and have his back, just as he has theirs.
34. Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to āTMIā?)
When it comes to his own emotions, Mikeās a surprisingly private person, though he doesnāt really give that impression. Heās very good at sharing only what he wants to share, and sharing it in a way that makes people think thatās ALL heās feeling. He gives the impression of wearing his heart on his sleeve, when really thereās a lot more to him that he usually wonāt let anyone else see.
35. What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?
Mikeās of the opinion that doing something that you enjoy is NEVER a waste of time.
36. What makes them feel guilty?
Failing his family - even if heās the only one who perceives it as a failure.
37. Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?
When he was younger, Mike tended more towards emotional decision-making. Now that heās older and more experienced, heās more balanced between analytical and emotional - heāll take both into account equally before making a decision.
39. What recharges them when theyāre feeling drained?
Finding somewhere quiet and solitary, preferably with a view of the sky, and just sitting and relaxing and letting the world go by without him for a while. If heās got some music to listen to and/or Klunk to pet, thatās even better.
Folding origami, skateboarding, sneaking up on people and scaring the crap out of them just for fun.
46. Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
A little from column A, a little from column B. Depends on the situation. Mike can be very verbose when the mood strikes him and/or the situation calls for it. He can also be very demonstrative in his actions and deeds, without ever saying a word.
49. If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?
More precisely, Mike plays the avoidance game. He uses his speed and agility to avoid getting hit, then strikes hard and fast and precisely to end the fight as quickly as possible.
50. Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Mike would prefer to live for as long as possible, but heās not afraid of dying. Heās faced possible - and probable, and likely, and imminent - death too many times for it to hold any fear for him.
