Hi, long-lost followers of this blog!
A friend tweeted about ReadAtMidnight’s #TheReadingQuest, a fantasy journey-inspired readathon, taking place from August 13th to September 10th! If you’d like to know more about this quest, along with information for experience and health points, read this post. This theme was perfect timing for me considering I recently became obsessed with the podcast The Adventure Zone & am joining my first D&D campaign next week. Plus, Booktubeathon just ended and I decided I need this type of readathon stress for an entire month.
The artwork for this challenge that I’ve included in this post was made by CW of Read, Think, Ponder!
I have decided to start my quest as a Mage, and if I complete that challenge, I will continue as a Knight. The Mage’s quest quest follows the left column of challenges, and the Knight’s quest follows the top row’s challenges. I’ll be doing a buddy-read with @mamaleh6994 for the Multiplayer side quest & have also created a TBR with almost every side quest because #masochism.
Mage’s Quest TBR:
A Book with a One Word Title: Maestra by L.S. Hilton
A Book that Contains Magic: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

My next #tbr pile for #TheReadingQuest! These are mostly all relatively new and by marginalized authors, so if you were looking for some authors to read to get those extra 10 points, these would be excellent choices. They all also will fill a side quest and some may fill a path quest if you still need books for a path. Enjoy! I know I will!
