Review:
This book only received three stars due to the sheer length of the novel. There were many times I had to bear through a couple hundred pages hoping it'd pick up. The revelations throughout the book were good, and the idea Wendig created was good, but it was a little drug out. I will say that he created some wonderful characters and allowed growth for all of them which is what probably contributed to the length of the book. He also managed to make this end of the world novel funny with a lot of pop culture references and puns. A few did make me laugh out loud while reading. Over all I would recommend this read just because it was interesting but it also comes with the advisement to be patient. Let it unfold before you give up on it.
Y’all I swear I’m working on this book. Wendig made a hella of a novel but it’s lagging a little. Only a 100 pages to go!

One of the first ones to catch my attention today. Reading it in the pick up line while I wait on the kiddies.
Maybe next time I shouldn’t go unsupervised 😂
Time to dig in!
At my happy place ❤️❤️
