Everything was good. Surprisingly for the first time in months everything around her seemed good. On the surface at least. She had a job, Leo had his job back and they were out in the open. Being able to go out, having their little games in public, ending up in public places.. without even bothering about it. It felt free and it was good. Though she had to admit that the thrill of sneaking around was kind of missing. But they made that up with other things it seemed. That he had his job back was both, awesome but still a curse. She'd gotten used to have him around all day long. All day hanging around together, staying in bed forever. It was good and honestly they acted a bit like they just fell in love with each other, just not as cheesy as sweet couples. Leo and her were still quite unique. Still being obsessed about the case, and now with Leo back on work they would get more information about it, right? Kelly assumed her dad would still be distant to Leo and he would probably have to do the work no one wanted to. But no matter what work, Kelly knew that Leo would be happy with it and she liked that. She'd done so much to him, he deserved to feel better and to have his job back.
They had to celebrate. And well, they already had plenty of times, but she would do something for him. She'd do something he would never think about. Nothing special, but for them it would be. Kelly decided to dress up pretty in a hot dress and she cooked. She cooked pasta like a real housewife. Pasta because that was the thing he made for her on their first real date. The pasta Kelly took out of his hands to straddle him on the couch. He never complained about that. So this was like a small redo of this date. It had taken Kelly quite a lot work to get him to this dinner months ago. People would say, Kelly had been bold, but she didn't see it like that. She'd wanted to spend time with him and she would get it. Like Annie. God, she didn't want to be like her, she really didn't. She worshipped Annie. She still did kind of, but she never wanted to be like her, for Kelly it had been enough to be with her, to be friends with her. She hated the fact that -A made it out like she was like Annie, but honestly most of the time Kelly was just to numb to notice what she was doing. Sighing Kelly put some pasta on the plates in the kitchen. Before she started she'd even cleaned up all the mess. Getting his chaos of papers a bit sorted he sat over all day. The little housewife Kelly.. yeah this would be a one time thing, but she just hoped he would see what she was doing with this. She was just ready with pouring the wine, the exact one they drank on their first date, when the door opened. A smile crossed Kelly's face and the coming headache was gone away a bit again. Apparently being happy made it go away.. just a bit though. "Welcome home, Detective." she smiled when he came in, trying to look as stunning as she could to get a reaction out of him. "I hope you're hungry." she said and walked towards him, helping him to get out of the jacket when she opened the zipper. "I've done a bit housework." she nodded, leaning up for a soft quick Hello-kiss, before pulling back.
