I'm currently writing a fanfic with my oc in Dan Da Dan Universe(she's my hypmic oc too), and bc of her roots, I wanted to add some characters of hypmic in my fanfic(No I didn't post it anywhere ;-;), and I kinda... Uhm, introduced Kuko as a character connected to my oc... But I'm still trying to develop him so I wanted some help from a "Kuko expert" sooo...
Can you help me? Like, I wanted to use some of his own abilities in hypmic as a base, but I dunno how to do it, so... If you were to imagine Kuko in Dan Da Dan Universe, how do you think he'd work?? Specially his abilities (⌐■_■)
Bonus that I replaced the hayashi band with Jyushi's band, so it's a mess and I'm still trying to process if I did it correctly since I'm reading the manga after finishing the anime... I'm kinda embarassed to ask this, but I was out of ideas（＞人＜；）
🤔🤔🤔 my gut tells me if he was in the series he’d have a similar role as momo’s grandma???? like he can banish spirits (tho if they’re particularly vengeful, he will struggle with them to the point of failure), he can channel his powers into charms to ward off curses (tho i don’t believe we’ve seen how effective they are since he’s only offered such a service to hitoya, and hitoya ignored his gift lmao)
seiko i also think is leans more into shintoism rather than buddhism, so rather than a reliance on a god’s power, you could have kuukou relying on reciting sutras to chain spirits down and/or sealing them and to make that flashy like a shounen lol, you could visualise that as like the sanskrit/cursive kanji wrapping around spirits. (to not make him OP outside of his inability to handle vengeful spirits, you could scale his power based on his karma that day or something LOL)
