“Trinity… Airman Trinity, can you hear me?” Someone touched her head, turning it carefully to one side. “I’ve set the wound, but I’m concerned for brain trauma. She was concussed” the voice said to someone else. “No fracture though.” The hand gently rolled her back.
“And Shikli…?” Asked another voice.
There was a long silence with only muffled sounds of movement. Then hands started removing the wrappings from Trinity’s face. “Try not to move” whispered the first voice. “I’m removing some dressings, airman.”
Trinity blinked, squinting at the sudden light. Voices calling to her and a splitting pain in her head.
"Ugh....Who....what? I can hear...you." She managed through her confused haze.
The voice telling her not to move was enough to get her to stop bothering trying. Her body hurt all over. What had happened to her?
