Rancor. Of the various diseases that I consider serious in humanity, one of the most serious is rancor. It quickly depreciates our sense of empathy, often turns off our affection and makes us people more rude, more rugged. What this disease actually does, and it does only to those who have it in their heart, is to bring more and more situations and events to maintain this rancor. The more we feel about something, the more we will have it. My suggestion as a remedy is: stop for a minute. Is this person or thing or event worth your peace, your joy, your most cloudy days? You are my Sunshine, I believe in you and I want you to open a big smile now. Have a laugh. Yes, of himself. Do not waste time throwing bad things at you.
