Tess Thompson is a good storyteller. The Patron (Emerson Pass Contemporaries #2) is a fantastic example of that. When a wildfire destroys Crystal and her neighbor Garth's house they become roommates at their mutual friend's home. Soon they are sharing more than their devastation due to the fire but they are also sharing some nighttime fun and games. Meanwhile, there are some rekindled romances going on, and please don't forget about the baby. There are a lot of plot twists in this book and I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend it.
