The Deadly Black Hole
In my previous post, I’ve mentioned the difference between dwarves and black holes. I’ve also mentioned how black holes are much more deadly than any type of dwarves. I’m sure we all know that black holes kill. But why?
Our sun possesses twenty-eight times the gravitational pull of our earth, and most celestial bodies possess more than that of the sun. So, if we can easily be crushed standing under the gravity of the sun, what will happen if we were under the gravity of a denser star, let alone a black hole? Now that’s the easy part.
Black holes are heavy enough to “suck in” light, they literally bend and alter the fabric of time and space. Meaning? Well first of all, since space would be lengthened, so would the person, but also so would each atom, proton, neutron and electron. So the person in the black hole itself would probably not feel a thing because everything around them is also comparably getting larger. However, to an outside eye, the person inside is getting stretched out. While the person on the inside would feel extreme compression, it would look like they’re expanding to their friend. At the same time, time would also expand. Again the person on the inside will experience everything normally, and fall “down the drain.” But this is where it changes on the outside. Because the progress of time is progressively slower deeper into the black hole, by the time an hour has passed here, the person inside would have only lived through 5 minutes of their torture. So to the outsider, the person inside would appear to travel slower and slower until at one point they would just appear to stay still.
In the end, not only would the person be compressed, they would have to suffer through that agony for centuries until they finally hit the singularity.
