Chanel - You're The One That I Want
It must be every director's dream to do a Chanel advert. Between that and Beer commercials (which tend to be utterly arty) they are often such wondrous pieces of film. With Baz Lurhman directing this one, glitter is only slightly toned down. More diamonds than sequins.
Then the music. I'm often a fan of the experimental cover. I like this one way more that i thought i would. Grease should normally be left alone, but this is pretty good and catchy in a sing a long way. Shows how you can change the mood of the song in a positive way, for dramatic effect.
I like pretty fashion films. But too often, more than the clothes themselves. Good thing i can't afford anything in it.
