Satisfied that the TARDIS had at least provided her with decent clothing, the Master smoothed her skirt and left the hideously 1980s bedroom set aside for her (the ship's idea of a joke, no doubt) and was immediately thrust into an endless hallway with no doors or turns anywhere in sight. Rolling her eyes at the machine's childish antics, she turned to the bedroom again, only to find that the door was gone.
"You've got to be joking. Is this what you call 'getting along'? I'm a changed woman. Quite literally. But if you piss me off enough, I can unchange very quickly." Still nowhere to go.
With a sigh, the Master started walking. "Fine. Get it out of your system, you rickety hunk of junk. I'm going to be here for a long, long time."

I am, I’m utterly heartsbroken! I thought you found me charming.
I find you irritating and grating. I find your ignorance to that fact vaguely charming, in a way. In the same way that I find a dog that keeps walking into glass doors charming.

"Hello! Welcome to the Rose and Crown Historic Pub! I'm Clara, Clara Oswald," Clara began, smiling as a customer walked through the door. "I will be your server this evening. Will you come this way please?" she added, gesturing toward a table by the window.
Are you lost? Because I can't help you.

Oh! Peter hadn't actually GREETED anyone in a while... Now that he thought about it. The teenager gave a cheerful wave nonetheless, catching a familiar face or so in the 'crowd'. "Well hey to you guys to! I'm Peter Parker, by the way."

"Johnny." The teenager grinned, rolling his eyes out of habit at the friend. "I was wondering when you'd show up."
Welcome back, Carol
theoldestquestion:
May 6th, 1918. The moon is bare. This early on, there isn't even a flag or some golf equipment up there. So whatever Carol was expecting when she would hit the surface of the Kepler crater, there was no mistaking that the strange blue phone box is her ride home. In fact, once she got within a few meters of the box, the atmospheric shell would kick in.
The door swung open and a man with a broad grin on his deceptively young face stepped from inside, hands tucked in his pockets. "Oh, I am loving this look! Are you Kree? I'd no idea. Pleasure to meet you officially, Carol. I am the Doctor, this is my TARDIS. Now, let's get you home."
Stepping into the weird little bubble of air around the box, she held out a hand to the man with a grin. "Thanks for all of this. I mean, time travel is definitely not my thing, so it's nice to have somebody who'll help pull me out of it, you know?" She gave a last glance back at Earth, stunned at how different it looked from her time, and then carefully scooted, sideways, into the TARDIS. She moved to the side to allow him in, then turned her head and blinked. Okay... So his little time machine was more like a giant time ship. In disguise.
"Not even gonna question it right now..." She stepped down and sat on the jump seat.
