One of my favorite little Ward moments is when Theo is talking to Rain about how Kaiser tried use him for child marriage/political marriage with Rune, and Cuff cuts in with calling her an ugly nazi motherfucker or something like that.
Cuff can be an absolute menace at times, holy shit.
“Stop talking, Jack. You’re not that clever, not as sharp as you like to think. You talked to me about keystones? Bullshit. You’re a sad, pathetic killer with delusions of grandeur.”
AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Call him out! Drag him!
Meet the Patients, Part 2
Riley Grace Davis/"The Map Pin Killer": 16, severely traumatized, diagnosed with a conduct disorder. May be diagnosed with PTSD. The chance of the conduct disorder being upgraded to antisocial personality disorder is still being discussed. "Possible sociopath, definitely not a psychopath", according to herself, but then again she has no qualifications. Well-read for her age, a psychological hobbyist, and convinced that ASPD and conduct disorders "medicalize criminality". Created an elaborate serial killer hoax across four different states. This was preceded by a disastrous home invasion in which she survived by playing dead. Bubbly persona with antisocial tendencies and an extreme fondness for the macabre. In reality, scared, so very scared.
Butchered three separate squirrels in theatrical fashion, seemingly directly inspired by cheap crime-horror media, before being found out, which got her institutionalized by her Aunt Abigail. Had an idyllic childhood with her aunt other than the home invasion trauma, until Abigail Rowan-Sato's Hollywood life imploded in a sea of horrific scandal. People pleaser, favorite holiday is Halloween and always goes all out. Claims to have actually killed people as the Map Pin Killer, probably lying. Wild stories about cannibalism. Idolizes Jack.
"How does that song about all of those bones being attached to each other go?"

Theo Anders, LCSW: 24. Born to Maximilian and Heith Anders of Struggle 88, a white power neo-Nazi organization, Theo's childhood was a nearly feudal mess of hierarchy and obligation. Raised to hate, he instead found himself drifting away from his family. The death of his mother and his father's remarriage gave him the opportunity to cut ties, and he pursued an education with the support of his aunt.
Said aunt, Kimberly Anders, was a member of Struggle 88 and the founder of www.ironrain.com, a virulently bloodthirsty Nazi newsletter and forum. Deeply regretting the movement, Kim Anders left, and devoted her life to trying to reform. Her personal motto, that she'd "never be a good person but could live for good", would heavily affect Theo, with her being the only member of his family other than his sister Aster who he'd keep in touch with. Nonetheless, the moral consequences of her actions were things that could not be undone with a redemptive narrative: a fact he's very aware of.
Theo is a competent social worker and therapist, with a profound sensitivity and a personal interest in comparative religions. A convert to Judaism and knowledgeable about Hinduism, Judaism, and Christianity, Theo Anders provides a thoughtful and sensitive perspective in a mental health institution often full of some...dynamic personalities.
"It's okay. You might not be able to see it, but you're a good person, and that's not something you just are. Being a good person is something you do, every day, and I can see how hard you're doing it. I know it isn't easy, and I'm so amazed at your hard work."
