Shore Leave || Chekov & Kirk [CLOSED]
On the way out into the Enterprise's five year journey into deep space, there were a few civilized planets along the way, so it wasn't like they'd be dealing with nothing but completely undeveloped, budding new civilizations and species. They'd been in space for roughly six months, maybe seven, at this point and the whole crew was beginning to get a little stir crazy with cabin fever. So the charted a course for a nearby planet. This particular planet was more used as a resort, being that it wasn't very big and it's semi-tropical climate and artistically picturesque landscape, and it enjoyed the protection of the United Federation of Planets. So naturally the crew of the Enterprise was welcome there.
The Enterprise landed on the peaceful planet of Maluhia. Arrangements for room and board had been made for the crew for at least two weeks. Kirk decided this would be enough time for his crew to unwind, decompress, and relax before having to return to the mission. Kirk stayed aboard the ship as the crew members slowly filtered out of the Enterprise. He had to make sure everyone was off the ship before locking it down for the next two weeks, he couldn't have anyone getting locked on board. So once he was sure everyone was off, he makes a few arounds about the ship to make sure that was everyone.
That's when he noticed the door to Chekov's room open, the lights turned on in the dim corridor. He moves over to the door before knocking on the frame as he leans in. "Ensign Chekov?" Jim said as he looked at the young man in his room. "Everything alright?" the captain asked, concerned.
