Do you delete anon hate or post and address it? Why?
Man, I haven’t had anon hate in donkeys. I would probably just delete it? I don’t see a point in validating someone’s stupid urge to write something mean. If it were a genuine criticism, I’d confront it, obviously, but petty or just mean stuff... nah. I wouldn’t waste my time. It’s much more satisfying when people do that kind of thing and get absolutely no results from it. And, I doubt it would affect me too much;maybe in excess, but I have a busy life and bigger fish to fry, so I wouldn’t validate something that genuinely wouldn’t phase (faze?) me.
Have you ever felt pressured to write something you weren’t comfortable with?
Probably, yes. I can’t remember specific examples, other than one incident back in I think, 2013? In the NRPC, there was a weird guy who wrote an OC who would pressure girls/people he thought were girls because they had lady muses into writing chubby chaser fetishes. It was gross. I never did it, eventually, but I remember having to entertain him and try to have a normal conversation, because back then it was unusual to be mutuals only or to reject role-plays, and I was 14. Other than that, I used to be a lot more uncertain about my writing, so I would sort of mold any character I was writing to how I perceived the other writer wanted me to write them, so that it would satisfy them. I think that constitutes.
Have you ever followed someone because you felt like you had to, not because you wanted to?
Sometimes. I try not to, now. I just unfollow if I don’t like their energy. Who has the time?
