The Night Agent 3x05 "The Isolation Play"

Philip Anthony-Rodriguez. A heist-type story which gives us our first chance to see the Peter-Adam partnership in action. Literally. Last season we had Sami Saidi played by Marwan Kenzari, this year we have David Lyons as Adam. Both very cool heroes who add a lot to the show. Other highlights: Chelsea’s detective work at the White House, and a brilliant revelation at the very end. 10/10

The Night Agent 3x04 "Orion"

Timothy Hutton. Interesting new characters dominate. Lansing, Adam (David Lyons) and Jenny (Jennifer Morrison) are very compelling. The intrigue at the White House is particularly good, and gives Chelsea (Fola Evans-Akingbola) lots to do. Highlight: the shoot-out/chase in the snow. All the stuff at the lodge was fun. Genesis Rodriguez and Gabriel Basso have strong chemistry. I still think of the show as 24-lite but I love it nonetheless. 10/10

The Night Agent 3x03 "Dark Matters"

The show shifts gears, taking the focus off Peter for long stretches. Chelsea Arrington (Fola Evans-Akingbola) returns. Looks like she’s becoming this show’s Agent Aaron Pierce. New characters are introduced, played by Jennifer Morrison and Michaela Watkins. Good casting. We spend more time with the hitman and his kid. It was definitely interesting/revealing spending time with the President and the First Lady. Not what I was expecting. 9/10
