To the one I like love,

To even be even remotely vague with this would just be pointless beyond comprehension. I’m sure you know … how I feel about you. You’re such a bright girl, so I’m confident you figured it out. Maybe even before I had myself—that must be it. That’s why you’re so kind to me, isn’t it? You wanted me to open to you, and so I have because you’ve shown me such a unique kindness.

You’re everything I’ve ever really imagined ‘perfect’ to be. Well, perfection is subjective but—you’re perfect to me. Your smile, your kindness, your laugh, your eyes… I could drone on and on. 

I’m blessed to have met you. You’ve changed my life for the better to such a degree, I don’t think anything I could do can suffice as repayment. You’ve given me my life back—you’ve given me my livelihood back. Your happiness is my happiness, and so I will fight to keep you as happy as I can. 

5 - carve a pumpkin

     Jataro rolled up his sleeves, revealing his pale, chubby hands. Proudly, the boy stared down at the pumpkin. He had picked it out himself (Of course, he had needed to bring it to Monaka for approval first, but it was still an accomplishment.)

     From his apron, the little artist pulled out a few scalpels. Two of the sharper ones had rather bizarre stains on them, but that’s a different story. Jataro slowly began to mark out a faint outline on the pumpkin of a face.
