“Designs of Fear: How the “Pursuer” a.k.a. the “Nemesis” would’ve, or could’ve, appeared?” (Biohazard 3/Resident Evil 3: The Remake) - As it stands, the current and official design/look of the #Pursuer a.k.a. the #Nemesis is the one used and seen in the trailers for the upcoming Survival-Horror/Action-Adventure video game remake of the 1999 released #SurvivalHorror classic, “Biohazard 3: Last Escape”, otherwise known as “Resident Evil 3: Nemesis”, and to be honest... how the Pursuer/Nemesis would’ve, or could’ve, looked like is completely irrelevant and I’m ALL FOR his current design/look, which we shall soon witness in a few months time... oh we shall! 😈💀🔥 I must say though, the 2nd design as you lovely gents/ladies may feast your gorgeous eyes on is quite unique and dare I say... unsettling, but in the BEST way possible... something a fellow YouTuber named “Score PN” had brought up in his video discussing the designs/looks of our dear #Pursuer here, more so than the designs/looks of the 1st and 3rd ones, which more closely resembles the Classic and Modern/Updated design/look of the #Nemesis ...and they’re pretty good too! 😄👌🏻 As “unsettling” as the 2nd design/look may appear, it’s also pretty funny... for obvious reasons! 😂 It’s a FAN-made picture, however, just like the other two are... so yeah, not much to say there! 🙃 Aside from the Pursuer/Nemesis’ design/look, I do greatly wish upon a shooting star that there’d be a moment in the upcoming final product on April 3rd, 2020... when our main protagonist, Jill Valentine, YELLS at the top of her lungs while taking cover from the barrage of gatling gun bullets from the #Nemesis whose also YELLING at the top of his lungs like “AGGGHHHHHH!!!!” ...I can only wish upon a shooting star, but man... that would be so f**king AWESOME and HILARIOUS!!! 🤣 April 3rd, baby... 6 of the MANY AMAZING Chinese Mànhuàs centered on Capcom’s extremely popular video game franchise #Biohazard (Resident Evil), a series that not only redefined the #SurvivalHorror genre in video games, but has plenty of intriguing and exciting tales to behold! 😈🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🖤 These are just six of my personal favorites (ranked accordingly): 1) “Resident Evil Vol.1 Issue No.2” ...Patrick Brady a.k.a. “Brady the Zoo Keeper” is the everyday man, the average joe, and without question, my absolute favorite character of the long series of #BiohazardMànhuàs simply because of how resilient, determined, and fearless he was to overcome the overwhelming odds stacked against him, which he overcame like a true soldier! 😄👊🏻 - 2) “Biohazard 3: Last Escape Vol.1-26” ...the brutal, earth shattering, epic, and monstrous battle between Dr.William Birkin in his #G Level 2 & 3 forms against #TheNemesis is so unreal!!! 😃 Two fierce and dangerous Tyrants who were once men, before they became corrupted by the #UmbrellaCorporation 🤜🏻🤛🏻 - 3) “Biohazard 3: Last Escape Vol.1-26” ...every scenarios involving former #STARSAlphaTeam member, Jill Valentine. 🧒🏼⭐️ - 4) “Biohazard 0 Vol.1-6” ...Rebecca Chambers & Billy Coen, a rookie member of the #STARSBravoTeam & a wrongly convicted criminal/army lieutenant... a match made in Heaven, or Hell! 💑💜 - 5) “Biohazard Code: Veronica Vol.1-18” ...Albert Wesker, the charmingly cocky b**tard behind the shades, vs. Alexia Ashford, Alexander Ashford’s greatest failure and mistake. I like it, oh I do! 😏🔥 - 6) “Biohazard 3: Last Escape Vol.1-26” ...every scenarios with Carlos Oliveira, a mercenary hired by the #UBCS (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service). Sergeant Nikolai Zinoviev, codenamed “Silver Wolf”. 🐺 Sgt.Zinoviev sends chills down my spine, more so than the zombies, dogs, lickers, hunters, and tyrants! “Synthetic & Bio-organic Threats: The lingering terrors of The Terminator & The Nemesis” - Within the #Horror genre, there are two kinds of fears. One is fear of the unknown, a very classic and somewhat cliché trope but one that still results in effective horror. And the other is a lingering terror. An unstoppable threat that’s in constant pursuit of its’ target. It doesn’t eat, sleep, or tire, but relentlessly pursues its’ target until he/she has been #Terminated or worse.... 😈 Case in point, Skynet’s Cyberdyne Systems Series 800 Terminator, or simply known as the “T-800”, a.k.a. #TheTerminator 😎 & the Umbrella Corporation’s Nemesis-T Type a.k.a. #TheNemesis 👹 A machine created by a highly advanced neural network-based #ArtificialIntelligence and an abomination that was once human created by the corrupt scientists of the #UmbrellaCorporation both of who were made to track, hunt down, and kill their assigned targets. For The Terminator, it was Sarah Connor “The Gutsy Soldier” (and Kyle Reese), and for The Nemesis, it was Jill Valentine of #STARSAlphaTeam (and Carlos Oliveira). What made both James Cameron’s “The Terminator” (1984) & Aoyama Kazuhiro’s #Biohazard3LastEscape (North American title: “Resident Evil 3: Nemesis”, 1999) truly terrifying wasn’t the adrenaline fueled, relentless pursuit of The Terminator & The Nemesis chasing their targets, but the fact that the #Horror comes from the sheer anxiety and intense atmosphere felt by the characters, and in turn the viewers/players, knowing that no matter where they may run, or where they may hide, their pursuers WILL eventually find them and they WILL stop at nothing to kill them. Even after the survivors/strugglers have temporarily avoided their unstoppable and relentless pursuers, their presence(s) can still be felt, for they are EVERYWHERE and can attack at ANY time when their targets least expect it.
