Six months ago I gobbled down this whole work, part of the 2020/2021 RBB. It's a testament to the power of it that I had not yet marked it as read written a bookmark for it. Circling back today to do both.

This is a f a b u l o u s, complex, well-constructed work sparked by @themuller13​‘s art ​. I LOVE it both the evocative art + the story so much. Love seeing Q walk away from MI6 + learning why; love how damn complicated it is for Q + Bond to turn towards each other; the MI6 family is so.well.done, and L O V E the many OCs which round out the cast of characters.

Lorelei-Lee asked about the name of my avatar or profile-picture. Well, since I designed the little fellow, I'll call them 'a muller' and in German 'mullerchen', which translates into 'the little muller', and 'lille muller' in Danish. A muller can multiply if need be, as well as change their expression to hopefully convey feelings like surprise, delight, fear, and the like.

When I designed the muller, I tried to show how I felt, when reading, commenting, and tumblering. The muller is a small something, who is constantly afraid of the world around them. The orange shock-blanket and a large cup of tea are necessary accessories, to keep the muller going, fighting their own fear for messing up a commentary, a tumblr post, or any kind of messages, sent to other people on the Internet. Because the muller is a very fearful creature, who tries their best to understand the virtual world and its inhabitants, as well as all the codes and cultures, while using a language which isn't their first nor even second language.
