Well if you were planning to incorporate that “Edie is the Chosen of the Light and Anakin the Chosen of the dark, the brother and sister need each other to have balance just like how the actual Brother and Sister” do thing then you could probably have Edie’s the same or higher. Maybe her midicholiran count grew somehow; if she had been recorded of having one high to start off she would have been signaled out earlier.

I like wasn’t even planning that far ahead but you make some good points.

BUT! Here’s my thing. Edie probably had a smaller count when she was a baby and it steadily grew and the healers were like “WTF??” and when it got really high they kept it to themselves. I’m having the head healer, Vokara Che, be the one in charge of Edie’s healthcare because she recognized her high count and hid that shit because she didn’t want Edie being singled out and teased and have more expected of her. Vokara appointed herself Edie’s healer and kept her count a secret and protected Edie at all costs. She and Edie have a close, trusting relationship. Edie knows Vokara has her best interest at heart and trusts her with everything. Vokara would rip the Council to pieces for Edie. Once she has both Obi-Wan and Vokara on her side, Edie is the safest padawan to ever grace the Temple.
