So late last year I posted on my main how I bought this purple slater from a Japanese imports company and I’ve been stimming with it ever since. So you can imagine my delight when I found more of the gashapon dangomushi series online direct from Japan! Including a giant isopod!!

But what my little pill bug brain did not comprehend was that these isopods were not, in fact, little keychain isopods that you hang off your finger or your bag. These were BIG isopods.

I found some UHA Mikakuto Tensura gummies at a specialty supermarket the other day!

They’re a bit blobby-looking but what else would you expect from a slime?

The flavours are soda (left), blood orange (top), muscat (i.e. white grape, right), and “energy soda” (bottom). I can’t really pinpoint the energy soda flavour other than vaguely like pineapple, vaguely like sherbet. Vaguely like something else that’s going to bug me forever.

Would be nice to see Shion and Shuna on the packet too, but you can’t have everything.
