Hi I'm sorry to bother you. I'm currently trying to use your winter theme, which is amazing by the way, however I am also trying to incorporate something similar to your uploads index. It functions phenomenally! Only problem is I don't want to mess up the code for winter with my inexperience with HTML. Do you have any tips, or anything really, that can help me out? I would really like to organize my page better. Thanks for your time.

Hi! I’m so glad you like it :) My uploads page is just a simple page, there’s no fancy coding involved. Just click the Add a Page button and make sure it’s on the standard page setting and type away! There’s no easy way to go about it other than typing out all of your popular tags or navigation links by hand.

However, if you want it to look different than my winter theme, you can install a custom navigation page which has a nicer organized look. It requires basic html/css knowledge in order to add links or change colors but it’s pretty straight forward and I can help you with those if you need it. To install these you click add a page and switch it from standard to custom layout, and paste the code just like you would a theme.

Hi, I've used your theme 06 but the optional/custom links (1,2,3) doesn't appear. Even when I active them. Do you know why? thanks a lot

Hi, Thanks for bringing this to my attention, it was a typo in the code -__-

It’s has been updated now so you should be able to copy & paste the code from pastebin and your color settings and things should remain the same!

hi did you update theme 06 winter theme? saw that you updated the links "Hey! It was a mistake on my part, I had a typo and it messed everything up, but I’m glad I was able to quickly fix it! Sorry it took a few days. That’s my favorite theme I’ve done so far and I’ve hit a little creative block. I want to make another one similar to it but I don’t know what. " I'm wondering, i was using thr old html, but it used to show multicolumn (2) but suddenly it only shows 1.. not sure what has changed

Yeah I updated the links, but If you’re using the old HTML nothing should have changed for you. It shows one column if your screen size is small. So if you are using Tumblr on a mobile device or a smaller computer screen, it will only display one column because there isn’t any room for two columns. If you stretch the browser or zoom out you’ll see more columns appear

If that’s not the problem, I need you to come off Anon so I can see what’s going on.

Hi, can i ask, is there a simple code to force twitter to display all the photos in a single post (with multi-column templates)? like how it is in the snowflakes theme?

I’m going to assume you mean Tumblr and not Twitter, and by one post you mean one photo ontop of another instead of in difference columns? Like the fox photoset on the theme preview page?

Photoset layouts will be displayed the same on your theme as how they were originally uploaded, they will look the same as they are when you reblog them from your dashboard. I’ve seen tutorials for different photoset layouts but I don’t know any of them off the top of my head, I’m sorry! Maybe a more skilled theme maker might have a better answer for you like @enchantedthemes or @shythemes .

hi i'm that anon who asked before about the winter themed 08 links only being able to show 3.. I've managed to work around 3 links and customised those links using those you set up as 'link 3 etc'. Thanks for the prompt reply and i really love your designs :)

How do I make the font bigger in this post where it says "you mean nothing"? darkhairandstubble(.)tumblr(.)com/post/142595140198 Changing the font size of the body doesn't affect blockquotes it seems, and I couldn't find where to edit it in the code. It’s the style for the tag that’s at work here and it’s specified in the code with percent of the main body text, so it should change if you make the body text larger…I can’t say for sure why it doesn’t.

this is the code you want to find, it’s at the bottom of the css:

sub {font-size:90%;}small {font-size:90%;}small small, small small small {font-size:80%;}

you can change the values to 100% or to a value in px, it’s up to you.

Hi. I'm using your beautiful theme "Sourwolf" and I'm wondering whether it's possible to make it so that the post info (via & source) don't show on the index page but show on the permalink page? I do want note count, date and tags to remain on the index page though. Basically, I'm asking how to move via and source from the index page to permalinks, if possible. I found where to remove that info all together but I like to keep the source so people can find the original poster, I just don't want the sources' usually pretty long usernames taking up most of the space under the posts. I would appreciate your help.

Hi, I'm using your theme #06 "sourwolf", but lately I have noticed the follow/dashboard buttons on top right aren't appearing - at first I thought it was just my slow laptop, but all my friends said they couldn't find the follow/unfollow button when opening my blog anymore. I just went to the live preview of this theme and it has the same problem. I don't wanna change the theme because I love this one, so if you could find a way to help, I'd be really grateful :)

I answered a similar question here and it’s the same problem but on different themes. for theme 6 the z-index needs to be changed for the div called header, like so:

.header {width:100%;height:68px;position:fixed;background:{color:Accent};top:0px;margin:0px;padding:10px 0px;z-index:99;overflow:hidden;}

I’ve updated the original theme code and my tags and about pages as well, since they use the same headers. the problem should be resolved on all of my themes but please let me know if there’s something I missed :)
