WHADDUP So, as you guys probably all know by know, my name is Melanie. But since we're being intimate, my full name is Mélanie Allard :) I'm originally from St-Alphone-de-Rodriguez, but currently live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I have a brother, a sister and a little poodle named Smokey <3 he's not going good, he's really sick and has been having eppileptic attacks and is goin blind and banging into walls and it's just really sad and i just had to tell you guys cause my dog is a really important part of my life; he's been there since i was born <3 anywayss I am a really lucky girl; my mommy is english, but my father is french-canadian. Therefore, i was raised into a completely bilingual gal :D although i consider myself more french than english... I dunno, there's just something about the quebecois accent that i loooove! I did a video i posted once on my surfing blog a while back hahahha good memorries! So chyeahh i went to an english elementary school, a french private highschool and an english CEGEP (which is like a "transition" school from highschool to university. Quebec is the only freaking province that has that! Instead of going directly to university we go to what we call cegep and choose a program like health science (which is what im doing) or social science or accounting or arts or stuff like that to see if you like it! If you don't its really easy to change programs, unlike university) I'd say im a school smart person (when im not slacking off and spending ALL of my time on tumblr with you guys HAHAHHAH) rather than a street smart person. This is actually really sad, you know? Like, I have no sense of protecting myself in the streets :o 3 weeks ago my iphone got stolen in the metro (uhm i think its called the subway or the underground train or something like that hehe) by two guys who just came from behind, shoved me against the wall and stole the phone from my hands!!! :( i learnt from that lesson tho; i never EVERRR take my phone out in public unless im in a bus or something! All that to say im more school smart than street smart. Next, i guess i'll talk about my skiing career, since, lets face it, we all come on here for snowboarding/skiing :D so i've been skiing since i was 3 years old at Val-St-Côme, not far from my hometown of st-alphonse. Every weekend i'd spend the day at the hill with all my cousins and we would go in the "backcountry" at a reallllly young age! I think the first time i went skiing in the forest was when i was 5ish? When youre young you don't feel fear, so it was a piece of cake looool (ps: i love cake, especially butter pecan cake, kkk) when i started to get older, i got bored of my home resort; lets face it: it was REALLY small! So when i became 12 or 13 my family bought a season pass to bromont mountain. I was SO PSYCHED to go to that mountain because i heard they had a lot of snowparks and rails. Before 13, i was just a regular intermediate skiier. But then, i started to really get into watching the guys do some tricks on the rails. It looked SO COOL! So that year, i saved up all my birthday money to go buy my first pair of twintips. I still remember them: they were roxys, they had pink and white and blue and orange (and maybe green) circles on them and they were the coolest skis ive ever seen! So, with my own money i bought them. It was my first big purchase of my life! So now, you guys have learnt that my first prized possession is my dog, and my second is my skis (i have new ones now, of course! Still roxys, still the same colours, like the old days<3) One last really important thing to me is sports. Im an athletic girl. At my highschool, we had 4 gym classes every week, and the 5th day we were forced to run for 30 minutes. So, after 5 years (yeah, here in quebec its only 5 years of highschool, no such thing as middle school and whatever else LOL), i got addicted to adrenaline rush of running and playing sports. For those who don't know me, im a BIGASS FOOTBALL FAN! Name me any player in the NFL and ill tell you who's team he's on. Im a die hard new england patriots fan! I also watch the CFL (canadian football league) and have season passes to watch my hometeam "les alouettes de montreal". In my "me" page theres a picture of me and my best friend kamba (big black guy lol) at the game one time last summer! Im also a bigass hockey fan. GO CANADIENS <3 of courseeee i LOVE SURFING! Kolohe, dont really like john john, DANE OMFG HE DESIGNED MY SURFBOARD <3 (yes i surf hehe i have a DFR by al merrick) i surf with my best girl friend Anne-Florence (last picture in my "me" page hihihi) she's such a surfer chick haha we do pretty much everything together! Sadly, her dad got a job in ottawa and at the end of may she's moving away to ottawa in ontario :(:( i don't know what i'm going to do without my best friend! Of course its only a 2 hour druve, but i mean, its not the same :( who am i going to go buy 1 pint of haagen daaz coffee ice cream with when im feeling sad? :( of course we'll facetime a bunchhh but she's going to be in university next year in the coolest program everr! Its called "developpement durable et mondialisation" which is like doing humanitarian trips and becoming an ambassador for non-profit organisations over seas. It really suits her well! As for me, in 1 year, i hope i will be studying dentistry at mcgill cause thats really what i want to do with my life. I know, everybody hates the dentist, but id find a way to make it fun LMAO no but i just really like to see people smile, and to know my job is to make their smile perfect (because ultimately i want to be an orthodontist but you gotta be a dentist first lol) puts a smile on my face :):) *no pun intended* hehehe so yeahhhh I feel like telling you guys my ideal guy, because i really do love men, like, a lot. Since i've been young ive had a weakness for boys with.... BLUE EYES <3 if you have blue eyes, its lime an EZ PASS to my bed... Lol not really because im a really self conscious person. I wont get into all the details of me never having a boyfriend or me still being a virgin, but im more of a girl who is really shy to talk in person, and introduce myself :( that's why i come here; cause its fun and easy to talk to anybody i want <3 and just getting to know you guys is so fun! But yeah back to what i look for in a boy... He's gotta have (most of this list; the more, the merrier) : -nice eyes (its really the first thing i notice) -nice ass (hehe that comes from watching 10 years of football ;D) -skiier swag (ps: i really hate that word swag but there's no other word that comes to mind lolol) -athletic; like, he has to ski/snowboard. If he doesnt its a dealbreaker. -has to be a good kisser (although ive never kissed a guy before so yeah... Sad life... But im really waiting for someone who's worth it) Thats all that comes to mind right now lol but yeah maxence definitely fits that profile. I wish i could really get to know him :( next year, with my season pass at bromont again, and now that i could drive, im going to spend all my free time at the mountain, MAXENCE'S moutain hihihihihi so maybe ill meet him there and chat with him and discuss our wedding plans lol jokess I'm on my phone lying in bed and i dont really know how much text i wrote because i cant really tell.. Lol i guess ill see tomorrow morning! I feel so sick i cant even sit up right now :( but hey, mclovers are worth it. I love you guys all. Not just the mclovers. Just this whole snowboard/ski community on here. You guys are the reason im failing all my classes and the reason i keep coming on tumblr. YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL. Xoxo Mélanie
