It was...nice...to have a place to go, a room to stay in, clothes to wear. Gipsy knew that she'd never be able to adequately express her gratitude towards Mako Mori. Being settled meant not worrying about where she had to go, who would find her, things that now seemed so trivial, almost.
So she wandered around the Shatterdome, this time with the aim of exploring rather than just looking for a place to hide away, turning corners and actually trying to remember how she was going rather than not thinking twice about where she was going.
She wasn't really paying attention to the signs, not noticing that she was heading for the K-Science lab until she made it there. She gazed inside through a window, amazed by how the room was basically divided into two sections, one half of it looking spotless and sterile, the other looking like her nuclear reactor had detonated in it.
There was a man working in the room, on the spotless side, and, from her spot outside, she watched him curiously.
