hmm... I guess that the opportunity to be able to work in what I love, which is acting, in something that could make me... be known .__. idk, there's too much things but if I could have that I maybe could have the rest asnjfdshbfjsdfÂ

ah yeah well, itâs your body, itâs something that would be on you for the rest of your life so if you end up deciding that âdiabeticâ is the most fitting word, then do it anyway because if you like it thatâs all that matters (since itâs your tattoo).
Try telling that to my ma, she's paying for it. (if I do it. Or my dad lets me)

personal rant: i know the new term is person with diabetes, and then people get mad when i say iâm diabetic, isnât the point of saying the pwd to make it accepting, if i accept diabetic then i should be allowed that, but i digress
I totally and completely agree. I just think it is what it is. And I feel like whoever came up with PWD probably wasn't diabetic.
And anyway, diabetic is just shorter and easier, political correctness be damned.
Besides. I went to this thing for kids with diabetes this week, and almost every single one of them referred to themselves and everyone else as "diabetic." I see no problem.
Yeah. Here endeth my long, pointless rant.

why canât you use diabetic?
thekilljoys replied to your post: thekilljoys replied to...
YEAH WHY NOT? is it like when we were discussing semantics at barnes & noble? âyouâre not diabetic, you have diabetes?â that thing?
According to my mother, it sort of "defines" and confines you to being "diabetic" Â when you say diabetic, rather than a person with diabetes. Where I get that kinda, I've tried to explain to her that, because diabetes has been such a big part of my life, I don't really think it matters. I mean, I'm not defined by it, it doesn't control me. I see nothing wrong with being a diabetic. It's just a word. It's not a title. It's what I am.Â
I don't know if that makes any sense AT.ALL. But, it's sort of the basic gist.

OH OKAY. IâLL TRY TO THINK OF STUFF! I WAS GOING TO SUGGEST SOMETHING REALLY COOL AND DIABETIC LIKE THE ATOMIC STRUCTURE OF INSULIN OR SOMETHING BUT NOBODY WOULD KNOW WHAT IT WAS⌠MB IF IT HAD âDIABETICâ OR SOMETHING WITH IT TOO? IDK. (CAPS.)
aw yay, thanks! and i'm not allowed to use the word "diabetic" according to my mom. wompwomp.

I DONâT KNOW WHAT THAT IS BUT I WANT TO HELP
Basically, it's a tattoo saying "i have diabetes, bro." in case i pass out or something. it'd be on my wrist where they check for a pulse. some are huuuuge. if i get one, i don't want mine to be.
thekilljoys replied to your chat: The answer was hammock.
lol with whom was this exchange?
Maddie. Her next guess what "Doctor Who" followed by "Matt Tennant? Woah! I just said both names. Matt Smith?" Â
