Scott studied the girl from a distance, crossing his arms over his chest. He knew what she was -- he had smelled the strangeness on her when she first came through town and had discussed it with Deaton, but he didn't know yet if the vampire was dangerous and didn't want to jump to conclusions. So he'd been keeping an eye on her -- and hoping she wouldn't notice or, if she did, wouldn't get miffed. He was beginning to feel a little like Derek, following people around like this, but he had to make sure she wasn't a threat to the people he loved.
