After a frustrating morning getting lost in the forest, not finding the exact mushrooms I was looking for, and generally being fed up with this year, I nearly tripped over some tangled up branches and caught myself on this fallen tree stump. Everyone is talking about how "great" the weather is right now and mean sunny and warm by that. But I think rainy, dark and foggy days can be equally great. They bring a sense of calm that I lack to find in bright and sunny days, a mystical feeling that otherwise only comes in autumn and a darkness that even at nights hardly can be reached right now, at least when the sky is clear. While May was unusually cold, the weather in June turned 180 degrees and it has been nothing but sunny and warm.
