An Alvardo Negredo brace was cancelled out by two Leicester penalties on a disappointing afternoon for Middlesbrough. An underwhelming day for north-east football was capped off with Hartlepool losing 2-0 away at Wycombe Wanderers while Gateshead’s eight game unbeaten run was emphatically brought to an end with a 3-0 defeat to Woking.
