While he didn't mind playing this role for so long. What he wanted to find was a way to get back to his crew. That thought was interrupted though when had accidentally walked right into someone. Law fell to the ground, "Agh" He sat up, "Look, I'm sorry about that. I must have been somewhere else."

Law stared in the mirror at his outfit. Is this formal enough? He had been doing this for the past fifteen minutes. He had never been on a date, let alone a blind date. Taking on Doflamingo, Big Mom, and Kaidou? No problem. A date? It was something Law couldn't even begin to formulate a plan for me. He shrugged as if speaking to himself, "Well, here we go." He walked out the door grabbing his jacket.

He made his way to the Smithsonian, he had been here once when he got here to learn the history of DC. He had liked it, but had never found the time to come back with how busy the ICU kept him. Even though Law wouldn't admit it, he was happy to be walking back into the building.

Upon arriving, he approached the table that held the name tags of the blind dates, and then his eyes glanced over at the board with their matches. Ruby, like a gem. He thought to himself as he put his name tag on, and then began to scan people as they walked by hoping to find his date.

Trafalgar Law was a man who had lost everything, yet he continued on. In the last year alone, he had helped overthrow Doflamingo on Dressrosa, and with the assistance of the Strawhats and Kid Pirates, had taken down two emperors, Big Mom and Kaidou. They had split ways, and Law with his crew in tow were on the sea again.

But in the life of pirates, there is never a moment of peace. He and his crew were blindsided by the Blackbeard Pirates. Law fought with everything he had, but it wasn't enough. He thought this was it, but Bepo had saved him. Well. Almost. As soon as they were out of the Blackbeard Pirates view, Law was pulled away.

He had awoken with his injuries in the alley of somewhere alien to him. If it wasn't for a decent civilian passing by. that could have been it for Law. He awoke days later in a hospital bed, believing it was all a nightmare. It wasn't, this was now his reality. He had tried to leave DC multiple times, but for some reason no matter the path he took, he always found himself back where he started.

Law eventually realized that maybe some sort of Devil Fruit user had a hold on this town. If he wanted to escape, he'd have to gain knowledge and information of this city. Then he could make it back to his crew.
