Matrix
What’s the most important: soundtrack, costuming, or lighting?
umm these are all SUPER important so this is actually kind of a silly question. I think every aspect that goes into making a film is equally important.

okay what artist would each character in twin peaks listen to. b/c jerry horne would 100% listen to iggy probably
okay, so, first off, i would just like to say THANK YOU because this is actually the greatest question I have ever gotten, ever. I mean, the greatness. I am just in awe. in lieu of studying for my ap exams, i have made a lovely list of who some of the fabulously weird characters of Twin Peaks would listen to (in my opinion):
Audrey Horne: Lana Del Ray
Dale Cooper, my precious lil cinnamon roll of awkwardness and perfection: musical soundtracks (also “Walking on Sunshine”)
Harry S. Truman: Mumford and Sons
Jerry Horne: Iggy (i agree 100%)
Ben Horne: Chris Brown
Laura Palmer: Bastille
Leland Palmer: jazz, in general
Pete Martell:Â just the quiet sound of the gently lapping waves, as he sits in his boat, fishing
Gordon Cole: Billy Joel. Cranked all the way up.
Major Briggs: The Beatles
Norma Jennings: Amy Winehouse
Shelly Johnson: Marina and the Diamonds, Birdy, Ingrid Michaelson (she’d love powerful, but soulful female singers)
Lucy Moran: Regina Spektor
Albert Rosenfield: Lady Gaga (I have no basis for this. I just feel strongly that this would happen because albert.)
Bobby Briggs: Dogs barking. Literally.
Donna Hayward: Florence + the Machine
Nadine Hurley (as a teenager): Taylor Swift
James Hurley: Bruno Mars (someone as whiny as him)
Log Lady: whatever the log’s into
And, of course, Denise Bryson: Beyonce (but I defer to theheadlessqueen on this one)
I realize I left out a lot of characters (ed hurley, hawk, catherine martell, doc hayward, sarah palmer, leo johnson, hank jennings, dick tremayne, josie packard, john justice wheeler, annie blackburn, windom earle, BOB, maddy fergueson, harold smith, the one-armed man, the man from the other place, dr. jacoby, mike henson, to name a few) and the characters I decided to include doesn’t necessarily mean I like them more. (eg: I HATE BOBBY, but I LOVE ED.) Anyway, my point is, if you have thoughts, FEEL FREE to add onto this list or add to what these characters listen to.
Seriously, this was the greatest question ever. =o)
the matrix, pulp fiction
The Matrix: What’s the most important: soundtrack, costuming, or lighting?
This one is tough, as all three are actually pretty important to the overall movie experience and how we respond to the story we're being told. I'd say for me I'm more visual so I generally would notice costuming before the soundtrack. Like I know people always talk about how pretty the Thor soundtracks are, but they've never registered for me at all and I could not pick a piece from them out if you played one for me.
Pulp Fiction: What’s your favorite “cult” film?
This is also tough since I like a lot of what would be considered cult films, though some all time faves I just don't think are actually off the beaten path enough to not be mainstream, like Labyrinth or Pulp Fiction or hell even Rocky Horror at this point. So I'll have to say it's a toss up between Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter and the Japanese zombie film Wild Zero.
I associate you with American psycho, horror films in general, Steve B(eautiful) uscemi, red hair, your razor sharp wit
“razor sharp wit” lmao i was at my friend’s house the other day and she was looking in her mom’s closet to find a sweater she could wear and she noticed a bottle of wine and said “I have no idea why my mom keeps wine in here” and I said “wine not?” and i think she almost slapped me
