In truth, that was just a name that the hero behind the helmet, Lyra Heartstrings, went with to keep her identity a secret, though with a look and color scheme like hers, it was hard for anypony not to know who she was. Didn’t really matter that much anyway... It’s not like she had many enemies in Equestria, just a bunch of Mavericks, machines hellbent on eradicating pony life. No big deal...

Except that even the most experienced Maverick Hunters have off days, and today was one of those days.

“AHHHHHHHHH!”

The sound of splintering wood could be heard as the armored mare was blasted through the front door of an establishment known as The Gryphon’s Respite, a place of ‘paradise’ where ponyvillians and beyond would come to find rest, comfort, and maybe even companionship. All three of those things sounded just dandy as the mare’s back creaked, sitting up to dust herself off, “That’s smarts...”

Standing up, she noticed that she wasn’t alone, turning towards the other being in the building, she apologized, “Sorry about the door, Black... I’ll pay for that late-.”

The mare chuckled nervously as she rubbed the back of her neck. She would have continued that statement if the robot that had punted her in here hadn’t tried to squeeze its way through the door, “Hold that thought...”

That said, she rushed off to keep the robot from doing any more harm.
