the tray held a loaf of bread and a cup of clean water, a contrast to the slop the guards provided. his pride warred with the gnawing hunger in his gut, a battle he was losing. "your charity is noted." he bit out, refusing to look at her, instead staring at a crack in the wall as if it held the secrets to his escape. "but i am not some stray hound you can tame with scraps from your table." he finally turned his head, his eyes hard. "or is that exactly what you think i am? a project for a woman with too much time on her hands."

Of course there was a brief moment where he believed this was not the proper thing to do — even if it was with Ravenna. Casimir was walking across a line that should not be crossed, and he was fearful that he was not going to know when to stop. Even now, the look she was giving him was nearly enough for him to throw away any oath he had taken. Especially if it mean he was going to be kissing her like this. "I think I can manage that." He murmured, a smile spreading over his lips as she climbed into his lap. Casimir wrapped his arms around her, tugging her closer to him as he return the kiss excitedly. He could already feel the erection growing in his pants, making this all the more inappropriate. "If we don't stop soon, I'm afraid I will do something I can't turn back from." He confessed against her lips.

the wedding feast was a special kind of torture, every laugh from the high table a needle prick against her skin, every toast to her 'happiness' a lie so thick she could choke on it. she sat beside her new wife, a statue hewn from marble and silence, the space between them on the bench a yawning chasm. mariana picked at the food on her golden plate, the rich meats tasting of nothing but ash, her courage fraying with each passing minute of this unbearable quiet. finally, she set her goblet down with a sharp click, drawing a few glances. turning her head slightly, her voice dropped to a low, bitter murmur meant only for the stoic woman’s ears. "you have not spoken a word to me since you spoke your vows. i know this match is as unappealing to you as it is to me, but must we spend the rest of our days in this… profound and miserable silence?"

Ronan knew the feeling very well, of watching the one person you want all to yourself being touched by someone else. The simple thought of that happening to Aurora was nearly enough to make Ronan go mad. "You wish me all to yourself?" He asked, his tone possessive as he neared her. "Does it matter? I come to you every night because it's you I want to lie with."

THE LINE BETWEEN RIGHT AND wrong had long since blurred with the two of them. Many people in Blake's shoes would consider themselves lucky to just have a casual relationship, to let himself be the rebound off of a messy breakup. They hadn't really talked about what their relationship was or if this was leading to something, and at the risk of getting too mushy Blake wasn't sure if he wanted to be the one to bring up his thoughts. He was propped up on his elbows and laying in bed, admiring the view of them walking fresh out of the shower. "I honestly don't think i'll ever get tired of this view." He said with a grin.

BITING HIS BOTTOM LIP, VICTOR watched as Fyona walked to the front of his desk. The scene eerily looking like the last time they had met. Though to be fair Victor had been high as a kite and the events were a bit hazy in his head. He did remember Fyona though. How he was almost immediately attracted to her, how she'd been the subject of his fantasies in the following days. He'd already managed to remain somewhat professional throughout the class, though his eyes had always managed to linger just long enough on her. And now here she was, practically spilling out of her top as she leaned over his desk, making it damn near impossible for him to control himself. Victor leaned against his elbows, bringing himself closer to the blonde. "You're playing a very dangerous game." He warned, hand coming up and and curling into the back of her hair as he spoke. "You better be sure what you're getting in to."

RONAN QUESTIONED IF HE WOULD feel this way, genuinely, if it were not for the potion Aurora had given him. Would his eyes still search for her the moment he walked into a room he knew she would also occupy? Would he find himself craving an excuse to see her? To touch her? The part of him that wished to believe he was being tricked, that she had manipulated this whole situation, wanted to say no. It's the potion's doing, it was the work of a powerful witch. But even Ronan could not question the feeling he experience in her presence. He would like to believe that he could not fall so easily to a potion. But that would mean that his feelings for Aurora were true, because he cannot lie. And he felt that the moment he kissed her, because it was urgent and hungry. Her body pressed against his, he'd never felt someone so warm. This close she was intoxicating, he could even feel his head swimming as he pressed her against the wall and deepened their kiss. It was like a desperation, like he'd been deprived of touch for thousands of years. His tongue moved past her lips, tasting her as his hand came and tangled loosely in her hair while his other came and rested on her hip. Ronan could feel how fragile she felt beneath the weight of him, making it that more impressive how powerful she was. When he finally did break the kiss it was only to catch his breath. If he wasn't required to breath in order to live he would have continued kissing her without hesitation. "You have either made your worst mistake or you are the smartest woman I have ever encountered." He praised, keeping their faces just inches apart as he spoke. He could smell the lingering of her perfume, noting how it complimented her greatly. "Because you will be all mine, I don't even want another man to look at you." His fingers traced against her smooth skin as he spoke, eyes burning into her's. He glanced around, scanning the empty room before looking back to her. "You must swear that you will come to the palace and be mine. That's all I ask so I may truly take you as my own."
