Hey! My name’s Jonathan and I’ll be playing Edouard in the upcoming web series, The Future That They Bring! I’m 15 and can’t keep my shirt on. I’ve never acted before this (except for that one Thanksgiving play in second grade- I NAILED that totally racist Indian role), and I’m actually tech person. I’ve spent all my time backstage, working with the fly system, trapping people in the orchestra pit, all that jazz. I’ve done lighting and sound board work for the community theater for “Charley’s Aunt” and I’m currently doing lights for the high school’s production of “Bye Bye Birdie”. We’re building two story sets- it’ll be amazing.

As for other stuff about me, I favorite song is House of Gold by Twenty One Pilots (sometimes it’s Can’t Stop by RHCP) and my favorite book is Grasshopper Jungle by Andrew Smith. I like coffee and Bernie Sanders, and I’ve had braces since I was 9. Think orthodontic hell, then multiply that by ten and you’ll get my current feelings. I also play Saxophone, Double French Horn, Guitar, and I’m learning to play Mellophone over this next summer.

Very few people have been able to put up with the sheer geekiness that resonates from the very core of my being. But those who can have become my best friends, for whom I’m extremely thankful. I’m looking forward to working with the cast and crew to make this production awesome. Thanks you guys for supporting us. It’s taking awhile because of school and all that dumb crap (just kidding. Stay in school children), but we promise we’ll churn out some major awesomeness if you stick with us. Okay? Okay.

Hello all you lovely people! How are you? How’s life? Hope those of you in school are making it through the semester okay, summer is nearing so keep powering through! 

Anyway, to address the title up there I have some very exciting news! A group of 20-something ambitious revolutionaries have decided to take on the challenge of turning the long and bloody (and twisted and insane and sometimes happy) story that is TE into a web-series.  This is like the ultimate Trek, people, and I feel like it deserves an infinite about of those clapping GIFs.
