We are thrilled to announce in collaboration with @ranchocompasion and @jamesonhumane the launching of an all-new agricultural scholarship program, LEAP @leap4animals. We're inviting high schoolers from Placer, Sacramento, Marin, Sonoma, and Napa Counties to apply and join us for the Spring '22 Program, beginning February 1st! LEAPers will volunteer each week at local animal sanctuaries to learn about compassionate hands-on farmed animal care, humane education, and participate in meaningful and fun projects. This venture is a bigger, better, more collaborative version of our original program, KEEPERS, and the 4-month pilot program is ideal for students who love outdoor learning, are passionate about climate change, and are excited to work with animals. Students who complete the program will earn a $500 scholarship to put toward their future!"
