Biography: Before Aqua Dragon made a mess of Atlantica, there was a wise and powerful figure that ruled over their part of the sea. He was called Dagon by his subjects, though monsters who knew him more closely knew him as Kairyu-Shin. He was one of several sons to the late Levia-Dragon Daedalus, Aqua Dragon being Kairyu-Shin's great-uncle. Teaching them both was an immortal Fishman named Kamehameha the Great, after his many feats as general of Daedalus' army.
By the time of our story, power had changed hands, with Aqua Dragon killing both Kairyu-shin and Daedalus in cold blood along with some more traitorous monsters of the ocean. Kamehameha managed to survive this coup, long enough to save the young Aquarius and several loyalists from Aqua Dragon's power and wrath.
He taught Aquarius all he knew, and eventually organized an army to retake Atlantica. Thanks to an ironic traitor in the midst of Aqua Dragon's fighters, Kamehameha managed to retake the capital and send Aqua Dragon and his surviving forces away from there. He was appointed as the battlemaster, or drill sergeant, of the main army, serving as a general in times of crisis.
